Selling Bandwidth

If you want to make the most out of your Internet and Mobile contracts, Selling Bandwidth is the easiest, most hassle-free way.

As Web3 springs into life, new de-centralised networks of service providers deal with their data at a local level. Large centralised server companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft are being dropped in favour of searching local data using localised networks.

If a service wants to know the fuel prices in a town, they ask and pay a local device to send them the information. That local device can be your mobile or computer. It can be simple as adding a secured browser extension.

The most rewarding way to get into these projects is during the Beta test phases. The returns are higher, but it’s in the long-term. You’ll receive test tokens or points until the project goes live, so have some patience. It’s a team effort, so the better feedback you give to developers, the faster the project will progress.

Some of the projects in here will have gone live by the time you’re reading this, but generally I get in very early to test them. If I don’t like them, you won’t find them here. If I find new projects I’ve built up trust with, I’ll add them.

Please Note: If you find your own project always research them thoroughly and never download any software without solid community-backed evidence that it’s not virus-laden or toxic. I’ll never post anything in here that I haven’t used myself and I know is 100% safe. Don’t get conned into following other links from internet searches where copy/paste criminals set up sites exactly mirroring the official ones.

Download a ‘node’ that can run tasks in the background on your machine, much the way microsoft runs Edge in the background on your own PC. The set up will take a bit more time, but the rewards will be higher. You can also choose the tasks that you would like to run. That means you get to choose how much of your computer’s resources get used.
